 I'll be the first to admit, that I used to be a little leary of meditation because quite frankly, I was ignorant of it.  I thought that it was a practice of different religions and worshipping other gods.  Do not judge me. 

 But, my good friend Stacey Turknett helped me to realize mindfulness is a type of meditation in which you focus on being intentionally aware of what you're sensing and feeling in the moment.  It is merely a breathing method to relax the body and mind and help reduce stress.  And it doesn't take hours, I started small with a few minutes here and there.  And I'm a believer.  9 days in and I'm loving this self-care journey!
